Good Saturday morning! After Friday’s widespread heavy rainfall, the worst of the stormy weather has moved out, bringing slightly drier conditions to much of the state this weekend. However, the atmosphere remains somewhat unsettled, meaning occasional periods of drizzle or fog are still possible, especially during the early morning hours. As the day progresses, expect mostly cloudy skies and cool temperatures, with the potential for scattered pop-up showers this afternoon into the early evening.

Looking ahead to Sunday, warmer air is expected to move in just in time for Father’s Day, offering a more comfortable feel overall. That said, there is still a chance for a few showers or thunderstorms, particularly during the morning and early afternoon hours. While Sunday won’t be a complete washout, it’s best to keep an eye on the radar if you have outdoor plans.
As we head into Monday, a Forecast First Alert is in effect due to the potential for severe thunderstorms. Be sure to stay weather-aware and check back for updates as the situation develops.
Have a safe and enjoyable weekend!
