‘Today’ Show’s Dylan Dreyer Splits from Husband Brian Fichera After Over a Decade Together

Dylan Dreyer Announces Separation from Husband Brian Fichera After 12 Years of Marriage

NBC’s Today show meteorologist and third-hour co-anchor Dylan Dreyer revealed on July 18 that she and her husband, Brian Fichera, have separated after over a decade of marriage. The news was shared via an emotional post on Instagram, where Dreyer acknowledged the many moments she has shared with her fans throughout the years — from joyful milestones to personal struggles.

“For many years, I have shared my family with you all — the highs and lows, the ups and downs, and all of the blessings and beautiful memories in between,” she wrote. “I am incredibly grateful for the support and love you’ve given me through it all. For that reason, I want to share with you that a few months ago, Brian and I made the decision to separate.”

Despite the separation, Dreyer emphasized that the couple remains fully committed to co-parenting their three sons. Their recent public appearances together — including a family outing to NBC’s Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular and a joint trip to the American Century Championship in Lake Tahoe — reflect their ongoing efforts to maintain a supportive and united family environment.

At the golf tournament, Fichera acted as Dreyer’s caddy, highlighting their long-standing bond over the sport. “Golf is the thing we do together,” Dreyer told Today.com in 2023. “We have a couple of drinks, we laugh.” In fact, it was Fichera who bought Dreyer her first set of golf clubs when they started dating.

The couple’s story began at WHDH, NBC’s Boston affiliate, where Dreyer was a meteorologist and Fichera worked as an in-studio technician. Over the years, Fichera transitioned to work as a producer and freelance cameraman for NBC News, while Dreyer rose to national prominence as a beloved figure on Today.

Though their romantic relationship has come to a close, their continued public harmony and dedication to co-parenting suggest that mutual respect and shared history remain at the heart of their journey moving forward.
