Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas Spark Romance Buzz as They’re Spotted Holding Hands in Vermont
After months of swirling rumors and multiple public appearances, Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas may have just confirmed their relationship.
The Hollywood A-listers were photographed hand-in-hand during a cozy weekend getaway in Vermont on Saturday, July 26. The sighting has fans buzzing, marking a possible confirmation of their romance, which has been the subject of speculation since early this year.
Cruise, 63, looked relaxed and stylish in an all-navy ensemble — a fitted t-shirt, slacks, and a baseball cap, paired with dark sunglasses and white sneakers. Meanwhile, de Armas, 37, kept things casual yet chic in a white t-shirt and black flared jeans, completing her look with a ponytail and black-and-white sneakers. The actress owns a home in Vermont, making it a fitting location for their seemingly romantic escape.
The pair’s Vermont outing comes five months after they were first seen together in London back in February. At the time, sources claimed they were simply dining with agents to discuss potential collaborations. “They appeared to have no romantic connection, just friends,” one insider told PEOPLE.
Since then, however, their interactions have painted a different picture. The two were spotted together on multiple occasions, including at David Beckham’s 50th birthday party in May and during a casual stroll through a London park to celebrate de Armas’ 37th birthday.
Their joint appearances only grew more frequent and public over the summer. From cruising on a yacht in Spain to enjoying an Oasis concert at Wembley Stadium in London — where they were seen together in the background of a video shared by DJ Goldie — Cruise and de Armas have rarely been far apart.
Adding fuel to the fire is their upcoming film collaboration. De Armas recently confirmed she and Cruise are working on multiple projects, including the supernatural ocean thriller Deeper, directed by Doug Liman. A source close to the actors revealed that Ana has spent much of the summer preparing for the film. “Tom is incredibly hardworking, and she’s excited to be working alongside him,” the insider shared. “She calls it the opportunity of a lifetime. Tom is an incredible mentor to Ana, and she has nothing but amazing things to say about him.”
Both stars have high-profile romantic histories. Cruise was previously married to Mimi Rogers, Nicole Kidman (with whom he shares two children, Isabella, 32, and Connor, 30), and Katie Holmes, with whom he has a daughter, Suri, 19. De Armas, on the other hand, previously dated Ben Affleck and was most recently linked to Manuel Anido Cuesta, the stepson of Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel.
While neither Cruise nor de Armas has publicly confirmed the relationship, their latest outing speaks volumes. Whether it’s a blossoming romance or a deepening professional bond, one thing is certain — Hollywood’s newest power duo is turning heads.
