WASHINGTON, D.C. — The nation’s capital hosted a grand military parade on June 14, 2025, to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States Army—an event that also coincided with President Donald Trump’s 79th birthday. The celebration, held along Constitution Avenue, showcased the strength and modern advancements of the U.S. military, featuring 128 tanks, military aircraft, helicopters, and over 6,000 marching soldiers.
Security was extensive, with over 18 miles of anti-scale fencing erected and major road closures implemented near the National Mall and Pennsylvania Avenue. While the Secret Service estimated attendance at around 200,000 people, the official turnout figure has not yet been confirmed.

Despite the scale of the event, D.C. authorities reported no major incidents. According to the District of Columbia’s Fire and Emergency Medical Services Department, 48 individuals required medical evaluation throughout the day. Of those, 31 were transported to hospitals for further care. Fortunately, there were no reports of serious injuries or fatalities.
The Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that no arrests were made during the parade, and no significant disruptions occurred.
