Jana Kramer Opens Up About Regretful Career Moves Made to Support Her Kids: “Sometimes Money Outweighs My Morals”
Jana Kramer is getting candid about the sacrifices she’s made to provide for her children — even when it meant compromising her values.
In a new interview with Fox News Digital, the 41-year-old actress and singer admitted she’s taken on certain jobs and ad campaigns that she now regrets, all in the name of supporting her three kids.
“Sometimes when you gotta pay that child support check, it’s just like, ‘Well, this is good check money. I’m gonna take this,’” Kramer confessed.

he One Tree Hill alum shares daughter Jolie, 9, and son Jace, 6, with ex-husband Mike Caussin, and 1-year-old Roman with her husband, Allan Russell.
Kramer reflected on how some of her past endorsements — particularly a few social media ads — don’t sit well with her in hindsight. “There’s definitely some things, some ads that I’m like, ‘Oh, I wish I could have gone back and maybe not done that,’” she admitted. “But you learn, and you go, ‘All right, I’m not gonna do that one again.’”
During the interview, which also featured fellow country singer Jessie James Decker to promote their song “Do It in Heels,” Decker jokingly asked if Kramer’s Instagram ads for sex toys in 2023 were part of those regrets.
Kramer laughed and replied, “Yeah,” before adding with a smile, “And I’m not gonna do it again… I’m good now. We’re leveling up to a different place.”
She also noted that her current husband wasn’t particularly thrilled with those endorsements. “My husband doesn’t love it, you know? The whole thing,” she said.
Like many moms, Kramer emphasized that everything she does ultimately comes from a place of love and responsibility for her kids — even if some choices weren’t ideal.
