Kentucky’s J.B. Holmes Prioritizes Family, Makes Limited PGA Comeback

Louisville Hosts 2025 ISCO Championship with Historic Local Lineup J.B. Holmes PGA comeback

The 2025 ISCO Championship tees off this week at Hurstbourne Country Club in Louisville, Kentucky—marking the event’s first time in the city after six years at Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville. The four-day PGA Tour tournament begins Thursday and features a historic moment for local golf fans: five alumni from Louisville’s St. Xavier High School will compete in the same PGA Tour event.

Drew Doyle, Cooper Musselman, Brendon Doyle, Daniel Iceman, and Stephen Stallings Jr., all former St. X Tigers, are set to represent their hometown on one of golf’s biggest stages.

“It’s hard to believe, honestly,” said T.R. Hollis, tournament director for the ISCO Championship. “You’ve got five guys, all from Louisville, all from St. X, and all teeing it up in a PGA Tour event, right here at home. That’s not just a great story for Kentucky golf—it’s a great story for golf, period.”
