Coldplay Kiss Cam Catches More Than Just a Moment — Alleged Office Affair Goes Viral
A seemingly lighthearted moment during Coldplay’s concert at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, has erupted into full-blown internet drama after a couple’s stunned reaction to being featured on the venue’s kiss cam left the crowd—and the web—buzzing.
As the camera panned across the audience mid-show, it landed on a man and woman appearing cozy in their seats. But instead of smiling or sharing a kiss, the pair recoiled in horror. The woman buried her face in her hands, while the man ducked low, as if trying to disappear. Their sudden panic only fueled suspicion.
“Either they’re having an affair or they’re very shy,” frontman Chris Martin quipped from the stage.
The internet quickly went to work. Online sleuths identified the pair as Andy Byron, the married CEO of Cincinnati-based software firm Astronomer, and Kristin Cabot, the company’s head of human resources. Speculation about the nature of their relationship exploded across social media, with hashtags like #Busted and #ZeroSympathy trending within hours.
Byron has led Astronomer since 2023, and Cabot joined the company in late 2024. In a press release from that time, Byron praised Cabot as a “proven leader” with “deep expertise in talent management.” Cabot, for her part, said she was “energised” by conversations with Byron and the company’s leadership.
Following the viral moment, a statement allegedly from Byron surfaced online in which he apologized to his family and coworkers—but a representative from Astronomer told TMZ the statement was fake.
Later in the concert, Chris Martin seemed to sense the trouble brewing. “Holy shit,” he said to the audience. “I hope we didn’t do something bad.”
For better or worse, the internet had already decided.
