Students Ask: When Are June 2025 SAT Scores Released?

When Do SAT Scores Come Out in June 2025? Key Dates, Times & How to Access Results

Every year, millions of students across the U.S. take the SAT — the Scholastic Aptitude Test — marking a major step toward college admissions. This standardized exam evaluates students’ reading, writing, and math skills, and achieving a high score can significantly enhance college applications and even lead to scholarship opportunities.

According to the College Board, over 1.9 million students took the SAT in 2023 alone. While the National Merit Scholarship Program focuses on PSAT results, many other scholarship providers — and even colleges themselves — consider strong SAT scores when awarding merit-based aid.

When Will June 2025 SAT Scores Be Released?

For the June 7, 2025 SAT weekend test, the College Board has announced that scores will be released on Friday, June 20, 2025.

The release timing depends on how and when the test was taken. Students who tested in-school before June 7 may already have access to their results. Keep in mind that release timing is based on test processing and submission — not on your score, grade level, or location.

What Time Do SAT Scores Come Out?

In previous years, SAT weekend scores have been rolled out gradually throughout the day to manage high traffic on College Board’s servers. Based on past trends:

  • Scores may begin appearing as early as 6 a.m. (ET)
  • Most students will be able to view their results by 8 p.m. (ET)
  • For in-school SATs, scores are usually available by 6 p.m. (ET)

3 Ways to Check Your SAT Scores

Students can access their scores through the following methods:

  1. College Board Student Account
Visit collegeboard.org and log in to your student account to view detailed results and insights.
  2. BigFuture School App
If you provided your phone number on test day, your scores will appear in the BigFuture School mobile app.
  3. School Counselor
Your counselor will receive a PDF copy of your scores, which they may share with you directly — sometimes even before the online release.

How to Send SAT Scores to Colleges or Universities

If you selected colleges or scholarship programs during registration, your scores will automatically be sent once available. If you need to send scores later:

  • Log into your College Board account
  • Navigate to the Send SAT Scores page
  • Search for your desired institutions by name or code
  • Choose whether to send all scores or just specific test dates
  • Review and finalize your request

🔍 Tip: Some colleges require all scores from every SAT test you’ve taken, while others allow you to send only your best. Always check each school’s score policy before sending.
