Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis has officially been ruled out for the entire 2025 NFL season after opting to undergo shoulder surgery, the team announced Monday.
Levis, who had served as the Titans’ starting quarterback over the past two seasons, was projected to move into a backup role this year behind 2025 first-overall draft pick Cam Ward. However, ongoing issues with his shoulder have led the 25-year-old to choose surgery in hopes of ensuring a full recovery.
“After consulting with doctors and his representatives, Will Levis has decided to undergo shoulder surgery that will sideline him for the entire 2025 season,” the Titans said in an official statement. “We support his decision to prioritize his long-term health.
